A new road-side diner opened up in the area and they decided that in this day and age even a small country diner needs a website.  This website runs on the XO CMS that I designed for children's websites.  Proof that a simple CMS can still provide an effective web experience.  The design and setup only took a couple days.  Even I was impressed by the, so far, flawless launch of http://rt.21diner.com.

I also learned a few neat tricks using the Google Maps API, so if you need a useful map added to your site... email me.

This was more about learning a new system than producing a website.  wvbizfinder runs on an eDirectory backend, which I must say needs to be rewritten.  I did not make the graphics, those where developed by the Charleston Newspapers Art Department. This project was, once again, simply a design job with so basic JavaScript fancies.

Now this was one of my favorite projects.  Joe Larson, a hobby game producer, stubbled upon an meme in the form of ASCIIpOrtal, a game he was writing at the time.  It crashed his site when word got out and he decided that it was time for a new website, and thats where I came in.

I did this site pro bono because I like what he is doing, building simple games and releasing the code so that other potincial coders can learn from games that they can play.

As a web developer for Charleston Newspapers I do a lot of different projects for there different products.  This is the new design for the Charleston Gazette.  This project took MUCH longer than it should have, it has one of those projects where everyone feels entitled to constantly request changes that often contradicted one another.

If you are a reader of the Charleston Gazette then you probably agree that this is a much better website than before, however I did recieve a number of complaints from readers resistant to change.

This project was for Anaconda Steel.  I don't have a lot to say about it.  It uses the same engine that I developed for the mediakit.  I have blurred the logo in the top-left corner because this website was never paid for.  After I invested my time in developing the logo and website Anaconda Steel owner Wade Kilburn went AWOL and I have not been able to contact him since.

By monitoring my web stats it is obvious that he has made some efforts to copy down this site, so I have removed it.

The Charleston Newspaper Company, which at the writing of the entry employees me fulltime, needed an online resource to aid the sales department in selling online advertisements and this is what they got.

The page is PHP driven but does not use MySQL or any other database, it is all flat-file.  Despite not being a database-driven site, this mediakit is still a template-driven, dynamic site that is quick and customizable.

iHigh.com 2.0 was a social networking site designed to target high school students.  It came about in the wake of the myspace and facebook boom, and never did gain the momentum that the producers were hoping for.

The project was sourced to 3rd Dimension Design who in turn contracted myself.  iHigh 2.0 did not have a fruitful life and was scraped shortly after completion.
