UPDATE: I've a couple new screenshots.  The battle engine is done!  It will need some major testing and if anyone is interested in being a tester just keep on reading, I get to that.  I have also finished the cut scene engine and am now working on the world and town map engine.  I have decided that I am simply not going to be able to produce the graphics that I want, it just isn't possible, I don't have that kind of time anymore.  So, I would love some help with character and monster graphics develpment.  Also, sound and music are a long-term goal that I don't know how I am going to do.

There is no live beta as of yet (there will be a single player beta soon), but here are some screen shots of what I am working on.  I have just about got the engine into a stable state and I am hoping that I will be able to find the time to develop all the graphics I want, however I think that I could get by with fewer than I want.  If you are interested in this project and want to see it completed remember that it never hurts to contact me and let me know that you would like it if I would get up off my ass and finish this game.  I am a notoriuos quitter when it gets to the last mile so a little support and encouragement would go a long way.
